Moving beyond the static diversity and inclusion statement, destinations and event professionals must now begin the difficult process of effecting change within their organizations, the destinations they represent and the events they manage. Virginia Tech Feiertag Hospitality and Tourism Department will be joined with industry leaders in an engaging, interactive and honest conversation about how we move from acknowledging that diversity and inclusion is important, to making the necessary long-term changes needed to actually be diverse and inclusive with our guests, our workforce and our leadership.
