There are two types of membership in VADMO

1. DMO membership is open to all Destination Marketing Organizations and tourism promotion agencies in Virginia. Active members are the official, voting designee of the member organization, Destination Marketing Organization. Associate members are additional employees of the member organization. The dues structure for DMO Members is based upon the size of the tourism organization budget.
2. ALLIED membership is open to businesses and providers who service the travel industry in Virginia. Allied members have the opportunity to market their products or services to the VADMO DMO members through the website, direct mail, networking at meetings, and sponsorships. The dues structure for Allieds is listed below.

The membership calendar is from July 1 to June 30. Membership dues are collected each year in July. New member applications may be submitted anytime throughout the year. Upon approval of the application, the new member may attend all meetings and receive all membership benefits, but will not be qualified to vote in membership meetings until dues are paid.
